INDIAdonates-A movement to change lives

INDIAdonates, a transformative social initiative in the social development space, was set up in the year 2018 by Dr Sanjay Patra and Mr Sandeep Sharma, primarily to support small and mid-sized Indian NGO’s to become sustainable.

The creation of INDIAdonates was born out of a realization by its founders of the pressing need for a platform that bridges the gap between donors and non-profit organizations in India. The founders observed that there has been a lack of efficient and transparent channels for individuals and companies seeking to contribute to social causes and connect with credible and impactful grassroots NGOs. They recognized that numerous generous individuals and organizations were eager to make a difference and support meaningful initiatives, but they often lacked information about trustworthy and effective NGOs to partner with. Conversely, many grassroots NGOs working tirelessly to create positive change faced challenges in accessing sustainable funding and building relationships with potential donors.

Realizing the potential to address this critical gap in the sector, the founders embarked on a mission to create INDIAdonates, as a transformative platform that would facilitate strategic and impactful giving. They envisioned a platform that not only served as a fundraising tool but also as a catalyst for capacity-building and empowerment of grassroots NGOs.
